How It Works:
One child, or a number of children working together, can enjoy Clued In Kids treasure hunts.
Each hunt contains a series of clues with activities and puzzles that, when solved, reveal the location of the next clue, and the next, until the treasure is found.
In less than 10 minutes an adult or older child can set up a hunt that will provide an hour or more of excitement for kids.
FAQ:
Q: What is the difference between a treasure hunt and a scavenger hunt?
A: A treasure hunt is when a series of clues leads kids to a “treasure.” … A scavenger hunt, on the other hand, is a search for a list of items.
Q: What age is best for these hunts?
A: Generally, these hunts are designed for elementary school kids (K – 5th grade).
Q: How can kids of different ages hunt together?
A: All our hunts have easier and harder clues because we know that rarely do you have a group of kids who are all the same age (except for birthday parties, and even then, siblings are often present). Plus, older kids often enjoy helping and teaching the younger ones.
Q: What if I don’t have a clue-hiding place that is specified in a hunt?
A: Clued In Kids treasure hunts use hiding places found in most homes (doorbell, fork, bike, etc.). But, if any hiding place does not exist in the home, simply pocket that clue. When the time comes for the missing clue, tell the kids to do an activity to get it (i.e. jumping jacks).
